Aimee Lou Wood’s incredible performance in SEX EDUCATION has been recognised by BAFTA as she collects the award for Female Performance in a Comedy Programme.
After SEX EDUCATION gained a massive six BAFTA nominations, we are incredibly excited to be celebrating with Aimee today as she received her first BAFTA award at last night’s ceremony. Aimee gave a hilarious and touching speech at the ceremony, promising to give a ‘metaphorical piece’ of the award to everyone in her category, not forgetting a special recognition to Emma Mackey for her nomination in the same category for Sex Education.
