Sex Education Picks up Five BAFTA Nominations

We would like to offer our sincere thanks to the British Academy for their five nominations at this year’s BAFTA TV Awards.

Congratulations are in order for SEX EDUCATION stars Aimee Lee Wood and Ncuti Gatwa, who have been nominated for Best Female and Best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme, respectively.

Director Runyararo Mapfumo has been nominated in the Emerging Talent: Fiction category.

Two final nominations were received for Lauren Evans for her casting in the Scripted Casting category and Oli Russell in the Photography and Lighting: Fiction category.

National Comedy Awards Winners!

SEX EDUCATION took home four awards at the National Comedy Awards. This was voted for by the public, which makes it feel extra special! A massive thank you to everyone who voted.

Asa Butterfield, Emma Mackey and Ncuti Gatwa all left the building with prizes.

Emma won Outstanding Comedy Actress, Asa won Outstanding Comedy Actor, Ncuti won Outstanding Supporting Role, and SEX EDUCATION brought home the Best Scripted Comedy Show award.
