Red Rose Released on Netflix

Eleven’s latest horror series, RED ROSE, is now available to stream globally on Netflix.

Originally released on BBC Three in 2022, the series was created by Michael and Paul Clarkson (The Haunting of Bly Manor) and is set in their hometown of Bolton.

It follows a ragtag crew of teens and their attempts to survive a summer of terror after downloading an app that makes dangerous demands with deadly consequences.

The cast of RED ROSE includes rising stars Amelia Clarkson, Isis Hainsworth, Ali Khan, Ellis Howard and Ashna Rabheru, plus celebrated actors Adam Nagaitis, Natalie Gavin and Samuel Anderson.

Ncuti Gatwa Scores Two BAFTA Scotland Nominations

Ncuti Gatwa has been nominated at the BAFTA Scotland Awards for Best TV Actor for a second time for his role as Eric in SEX EDUCATION.

Ncuti also picked up an Audience Award nomination for favourite Scot on Screen, presented in partnership with Screen Scotland.

Gatwa, who moved to Scotland as a toddler, won the very same Best TV Actor award at the ceremony last year, and was confirmed in May by the BBC to be the latest Doctor set to take charge of the TARDIS.

And the Emmy goes to…

SEX EDUCATION has taken home the Best Comedy Series trophy at the 50th International Emmy Awards in New York!

The award, presented by Sabrina Impacciatore and Wyatt Cenac, was accepted by Jamie Campbell, Joel Wilson, Ben Taylor, Clare Couchman and Asa Butterfield.

‘Everyone Else Burns’ Creators Partner with Eleven

Eleven are excited to announce the developing of a TV adaptation of Fix My Brain, a stage show by up-and-coming creative duo Oliver Taylor and Dillon Mapletoft.

The show is an exploration of depression and of somebody living with someone with depression, and is based on their two-person comedy show developed at university and performed under their Two Surnames moniker.

Carissa Hope Lynch, Creative Director at Eleven, is leading on the project with Co-Founder Joel Wilson. No broadcaster is yet attached.

“We’re huge fans of Dillon and Oli and have had great fun developing to this date,” said Hope Lynch, “We have a strong history working on the subject of mental health and hope to bring this to the wide audience it deserves.”

RTS Craft & Design Awards – Two Nominations for Sex Education!

SEX EDUCATION has been nominated for Best Director (Comedy) and Best Editing (Comedy) at the Royal Television Society Craft & Design Awards 2022!

Congratulations to series three’s director, Ben Taylor, and editors David Webb, Steve Ackroyd, Phil Hignett and Izabella Curry.

The award ceremony is set to take place on Monday 5th December at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Eleven Teams Up with Blink49 Studios to Adapt M.L. Rio Thriller

Eleven and Blink49 Studios are developing a series adaptation of M.L. Rio’s novel If We Were Villains.

Since first published in 2017, the thriller has sold more than 180,000 copies in English and is now available in 14 languages.

If We Were Villains follows a group of Shakespeare-obsessed students at a prestigious drama school who find themselves united by murder. 

Along with Rio, the executive producer for Eleven will be Jamie Campbell, with Jennifer Pick co-executive producing. At Blink49, Carolyn Newman and Virginia Rankin will also be executive producers, alongside Tony-nominated producer Christopher Maring, Andrew Williamson, Henrik Meyer and Enuka Okuma.

Eleven Partners with 4Skills

Eleven is partnering with 4Skills to offer a placement for their Production Training Scheme.

The scheme is for entry level talent who want to break into the media industry and are passionate about making television programmes. Eleven is offering the role of Trainee Assistant Script Editor.

Successful applicants will spend a week at ‘TV Boot Camp’ to get things underway, working closely with graduates of the scheme and the Commissioning Editors at Channel 4, before coming to Eleven to get their TV career underway.

Red Rose Released on BBC iPlayer

Eleven’s latest horror series, RED ROSE, has now launched on BBC iPlayer.

The BBC Three series was created by Michael and Paul Clarkson (The Haunting of Bly Manor) and is set in their hometown of Bolton.

The series centres around a cryptic new app that threatens a young group of friends in the wake of finishing their GCSEs, as they struggle to balance their real-life issues alongside the ones they begin to face online.

The cast of RED ROSE includes rising stars Amelia Clarkson, Isis Hainsworth, Ali Khan, Ellis Howard and Ashna Rabheru, plus celebrated actors Adam Nagaitis, Natalie Gavin and Samuel Anderson.
